SO FAR I LOVE THE CLASS………

I am a regular student of City college majoring in Architecture. This is my second semester on this campus. I just came to this country as an immigrant four years ago. I still carry an accent when I talk in english. So,  in all of my English classes I like to share the struggle of learning english. I felt like, if a student like me read my writing he/she will feel more comfortable about their writing and language. 

Our first assignment was to write a narrative. I really enjoy the assignment. The assignment was very open to tell a story of anything that recalled something from the past. I took advantage and wrote the whole story about the struggle I faced when I had zero level of english. I would also explain how I improved my English. As I explain my experience, it also helps others the way they can improve themself.

On the second assignment, we were responsible for writing a ted talk video. I really enjoyed the video because the video was very very related to my past. The guy was from Pakistan and he explained how he was very shy in the class. He never raised his hand in the class. He was the one kid who contributed very less in the group. People used to bully him in the class just because he had an accent. As an immigrant student I still carry an accent. I am from a very small  south asian country Bangladesh. A country where people never practice the English language. So, when I came to this country I had to start from the beginning. But I worked so hard to improve myself. 

This fall semester I took this English class where I got the chance to write about myself. It helps me a lot to practice English writing. These assignments are helping me to think about the writing that helps to improve my English level. The time when I am writing it also help, to get used to new words and their meanings. Writing also helps others who are like me. Mostly the students who are from other countries can use this writing as a motivation. When I started  learning English, other assignments and writing helped me to learn english. So, I believe that these writing helped to improve and motivated their skill.
